Action Against Hunger | ACF International is an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger. With over 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster and chronic food insecurity, ACF runs life-saving programmes in over 47 countries helping some 13.6 million people each year.

We are recruiting for a Research Uptake Advisor to develop and implement research uptake strategies to facilitate the uptake of research findings at global, regional and country levels. You will monitor and evaluate the implementation of the uptake activities, providing support as needed to ensure effective uptake. You will support research partners in the documentation of lessons learned, case studies and development of policy briefs emanating from funded research to enhance the broader nutrition community’s ability to undertake effective research and/or implement changes to policy and practice.

The Research Uptake Advisor will join the team hosted by Action Against Hunger UK, working closely with the Head of Evidence, Director of International Nutrition Initiatives and Regional Advisor to ensure all research activities managed by Action Against Hunger UK have research uptake strategies and are effectively linked into the broader No Wasted Lives Initiative to drive effective uptake and use of emerging evidence on the prevention and treatment of severe acute malnutrition.
