Context:
The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) was established in 2007 as a network of civil society organisations who are committed to working together and other stakeholders, to increase community resilience and reduce disaster risk around the world. The network is growing and currently has approximately 840 member organisations in over 140 countries across virtually every geographical region of the world.
GNDR is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of Views from the Frontline (VFL) Coordinator. The Views from the Frontline programme is an independent people-centred monitoring mechanism designed to measure local-level progress in implementing key elements of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and related post-2015 development frameworks. The post holder will be based in the South East Asia-Pacific region (Philippines or Tonga) where she/he will be responsible for leading the pilot implementation of the VFL monitor tool in the Philippines and Tonga. The role includes working with a GNDR consultant and technical advisory group to support the development and subsequent refinement of the survey methodology and associated user guide.

The start date for the VFL Coordinator position is as soon as possible. The vacancy will be held open until filled.
