Action Against Hunger/ACF International is an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger. With over 30 years of expertise in emergency situations of conflict, natural disaster and chronic food insecurity, ACF runs life-saving programmes in over 40 countries helping some 7 million people each year.
Action Against Hunger (ACF-UK) is recruiting for Head of Communications who is passionate about working for an international humanitarian organisation and who is also excited by the prospect of delivering ambitious objectives. The Head of Communications will drive Action Against Hunger’s ambition to become the number one reference on hunger in the UK, significantly raising our profile among our target audiences. They will oversee and drive a range of areas including: our media outreach; content strategy, plans and production; brand management and guardianship; and organisational audience strategy.
The role will require someone who will thrive under the challenge of propelling our cause to the front of people’s minds. Someone with the ability to steer the organisation’s communications so that we are continually relevant and exciting to engage with.
