The Advocacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of Action Against Hunger’s advocacy priorities in the UK. Working within the UK Operations Department the post holder will be responsible for working closely with advocacy counterparts and others across the Action Against Hunger global network to influence and inform the UK government and the wider sector in making the most effective contribution it can on global hunger and undernutrition both in its policies and practice as well as its action and influence in international processes. The post holder will work closely with Action Against Hunger’s global advocacy capacity, as well as with the regions and country programmes, to ensure that the network has the evidence, policy lines, and audiences it needs in order to make the biggest possible impact on influencing change.
